HEART Museum of Contemporary Art

For this assignment we were asked to create a poster for the opening of HEART. I wanted to create a Nordic feel to this piece, so I kept the poster mainly in white colours and somewhat minimalistic. The piercing ice blue was added to not only catch but also hold the attention of the viewer. The model is wearing a heart shaped mask, and her androgynous presence makes the poster timeless.

Process:
As soon as I read this assignment an idea popped up in my head, and I chose to follow it without altering the idea. A few weeks earlier I met this girl were I worked and knew she would be great for the headshot.
